GuidePal - discover places App Reviews

I am preparing a trip to Europe right now and I love, love, love this app! I think its very user friendly and easy to use! I downloaded the other GuidePal apps for each of the cities I plan on visiting! The only thing I wish is that the main "GuidePal app" would allow me to access all of "my trip" information, instead of having to log onto each app separately. Honestly though, this app has given me wonderful trip ideas. Cant wait for this summer!! Europe here I come!! <3

Love this app

GuidePal now downloads enough of the map for offline mode so it at least covers the entire city (if just barely - see Istanbul). The pinch to zoom on offline mode could be better though - it zooms on the center of the screen rather than at a point equaldistant from your pinching fingers like how Google Maps work. But other than that, a very good travel guide, especially since its free.

This app is absolutely amazing. Lots of very useful, up to date information. Before I even decide on where to travel to I check this app first.

Content is king and this app delivers! Cant wait for more cities to be added.

Offline guides are so helpful. Just needs to enable iPhone compass to see direction as well as gps location.

I updated the app and lost all my trips I had save and now I have to pay for the guides! Very disappointing

This is my favorite travel app, and has never led me astray. I simply download the offline guide, and use it when Im on the go. Great suggestions, really good quality information, and well written.

I like this app. Adding their recommendations to my trip was easy but every time I go to add my custom locations it does nothing, just loads forever. How can I plan my trip cohesively if I cant load the hotel I am staying at? This is a feature which is supposed to work that doesnt. Help?

This app says its free, I downloaded it there is only one city free! Every other city you have to pay $3.99 to unlock! Im deleting now!

Downloaded this version, then it prompted to update. After updating, it took forever to open the app. Then wants you to pay $3.99 to access. Deleting immediately.

The idea is cool but the offline guide has been downloading for 4 days (the Boston one) and its still only at 60%??? I paid $3.99 for that particular guide and I expect it to download without taking a week... Disappointing.

At first it was great. I had our whole New York vacation layer out in the "my vacation" section. Then on day 2 of our vacation, it started popping up a message saying I had no Internet connection (when I was on wifi AND 4G). All my other apps worked. Unfortunately I could no longer access any of the stuff I had book marked. Had to start planning all over again. Huge disappointment.

As soon as I open the app it suggests to me that it can not connect to the Internet. The Internet is not the problem however, it is the app. Too bad.

Not a very good app. Keeps asking you to download the new improved model. Each city costs at least $3.99 or more and the content is very ordinary. Not worth the money

Every tourist or NYC visitor should download this app as well as a NYC SUBWAY MAP app before they step foot on NY soil. I really wish I had known about this app before I came to NYC, it would have saved me so much sweat and tears.... And confusion. This app gives GREAT advice on NYC courtesy and so forth. The only thing that I would include for this app is an option to choose price low->high or vice versa because not everyone has the same budget. Also, more broadway tricks and food recommendations.

You lost me when I searched for "Venice Italy" and got Nice France. Not liking much of the new layout

İstanbul-middle earth??? Come on..

I bought Barcelona guide, then I couldnt open the application. The app is crashing silently immediate after I start it. I wont use it after I live Barcelona, I want my money back.
